Atef Fawaz

Atef joined eHA in November 2012. Working together with all program managers and directing them, Atef oversees all operations at eHA Nigeria. He also leads the emergency response efforts as well as the ICT team and handles relations with state and federal governments in Nigeria.

Atef was leading the setting up of eight Polio Emergency Operations Centers (EOCs) in Nigeria, funded by the Gates Foundation. The first two EOCs were built within four weeks. He further led the setting up the Ebola EOC in Lagos that was completed within two weeks. Atef was also reponsible for building eHA’s Nigerian Operations Department. Prior to joining eHA, Atef worked as Operations Manager and COO at Electronic Connections Ltd. in Kano. Atef holds a BSc in Computer Communications Engineering from the Lebanese International University, Beirut.
