Deborah Aguilar has worked in the healthcare IT industry since 2013. Deborah began their career at iMethods Healthcare IT Consulting as a Senior Project Manager for Flagler Hospital St Augustine, Florida, where they were responsible for the migration of the Radiology and Laboratory departments from Meditech to Allscripts. In 2014, they transitioned to a Senior Consulting Program Manager role at iMethods, where they initiated Cerner's Population Health suite of solutions across outpatient care coordination and managed care enterprise. In 2015, they became a Senior Consulting Portfolio Manager at iMethods and was responsible for leading the telephony portfolio, including Cisco phone replacement in Holmes Regional Medical Center and 12 remote clinical sites, Cisco Unity, Cisco Unity Migration of Subscribers, Cisco Unity Connection, and Aceyus Contact Center solution. From 2016 to 2017, they worked as a Project Manager at Healthlink Advisors and as a Project Director Consultant at IASIS Healthcare. In 2019, they joined iMethods again as a Lead Project Manager Consultant and Epic Implementation, and in 2021, they became the Cerner Engagement Owner at EHR Concepts.

Deborah Aguilar completed a Bachelor of Science in Hospitality Administration/Management from Florida International University between 1996 and 2000. Deborah also earned an Associate degree in Science - Respiratory Technology from Broward College between 1979 and 1981. In addition, they hold multiple certifications, including a Certified Scrum Master from the Scrum Alliance obtained in June 2021, a Lean Six Sigma Yellow Belt from Nova Southeastern University obtained in June 2010, Microsoft Project from PSSI obtained in 2009, Cerner Millennium Fundamentals from Cerner Corporation obtained in 2003, and a Project Management Professional from PMI obtained in September 2010.
