Irhama Alshamsi

Irhama AlShamsi currently serves as an AML Expert at the Ministry of Economy in the UAE since July 2023. Additionally, Irhama is an Audit and Risk Committee Member at Emirates Health Services, a position held since April 2021. Previously, Irhama dedicated over 17 years at Sharjah Islamic Bank, progressing from AVP - Internal Audit to Head of Compliance and ultimately Group Head of Compliance until July 2023. Irhama has also been a Board Member at Sharjah Islamic Financial Services from December 2014 to November 2019. Irhama's academic qualifications include a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration (International Business) from Skyline University, a Certified Banking Operations qualification from EIBFS, and diplomas in Computer Information Processing and Information Technology from Higher Colleges of Technology, complemented by a high school diploma in Science from Al Noor International School.
