Robert Thomas

Robert Thomas is currently a Board Member at Emerging Infrastructure Capital Partners. Prior to this, they worked as the Energy Project Manager at the City of Newark from May 2011 to December 2013. In this role, they were responsible for managing and implementing the city's energy grant funding allocations, overseeing several energy efficiency and conservation programs, and creating Newark's first Sustainability Action Plan. From July 2010 to May 2011, Thomas served as a sustainability intern at the Newark Office of Sustainability. Robert also spent time as a Principal Conservation Officer at the Student Conservation Association from May 2009 to August 2009. Robert's first professional role was as a Student Helpdesk Technician at NJIT from May 2007 to May 2010.

Robert Thomas has a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering Technology from the New Jersey Institute of Technology, an HS Diploma from the International School of Port of Spain, and a National Fellowship from the Environmental Leadership Program.
