Dr.-Ing. Ulf Achenbach MBA has held various senior roles throughout their career. Dr.-Ing. Ulf began their career at the Steel Institute at RWTH Aachen University as a Teaching Assistant and Project Engineer from 1995 to 1998. Dr.-Ing. Ulf then worked as an Analyst at Drueker & Co GmbH from 1999 to 2000. In 2001, they joined GMH Gruppe and held several positions including Special Project Manager, Finance Director/Sales Manager, Head of Controlling, Managing Director (CFO, CTO)/Director Business Unit Crane Technology, and Managing Director/Director Business Unit Castings from 2001 to 2018. In 2018, they became the Executive Vice President of Project Management at Senvion GmbH. Currently, they are the COO of Gebr. Eickhoff Maschinenfabrik und Eisengießerei GmbH, and they also serve as the CEO.
Dr.-Ing. Ulf Achenbach MBA holds a MBA in Operations Management from Purdue University Daniels School of Business, which they obtained in 2001. Prior to that, they completed their Dr.-Ing. in Engineering at RWTH Aachen University from 1995 to 1999. Dr.-Ing. Ulf also holds a Dipl.-Ing. degree in Metallurgy and Material Sciences from RWTH Aachen University, which they earned from 1990 to 1995.
