Emily Pehl-Matthews has a diverse and extensive work experience in the field of media and advertising. Emily started their career as an Assistant Buyer at Carat in 2002, where they maintained radio and TV campaigns. Emily then joined Mindshare as an Assistant Buyer/Client Services Assistant before moving on to McCann-Erickson, LCI, where they worked as a Buyer/Assistant Buyer. At ID Media, Emily served as a Media Buyer, negotiating, purchasing, and monitoring national cable, local television, and radio air time. Emily then joined OMD Direct as a Supervisor Strategist, where they negotiated, purchased, and monitored national cable and local TV. Emily's role at Softwave Media Exchange as Director of Agency Dynamics involved providing support to agencies, analyzing results, and providing suggestions for future success. Emily also provided buying support to the sales team and consulted with the development team on platform development. Emily'smost recent role was at Eicoff, where they started as a Senior Media Buyer and progressively moved up to the role of Media Supervisor and later, Associate Media Director.
Emily Pehl-Matthews has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Organizational Communication, General from North Central College, which they obtained between 1998 and 2000. Prior to that, they attended Winona State University from 1995 to 1998 with a focus on Nursing, though they did not obtain a degree in this field. Additionally, Emily has obtained several certifications including the OneView Certification from Roku Inc. in August 2022, as well as the MediaMath Academy certifications for Campaign Optimization in TerminalOne and Campaign Setup in TerminalOne, both obtained in April 2021.
