Shilo provides audit and accounting services to a broad range of entities, including local governments, nonprofit organizations and various business entities. Her current practice is focused on K-12 school districts, charter schools, joint powers authorities and county offices of education throughout California. Shilo has an in-depth knowledge of the federal and state compliance requirements associated with educational entities receiving federal and state funding. As the requirements for single audits under Uniform Guidance (formerly A-133) and the State Audit Guide continue to change, Shilo has been a leader in training their staff and assisting their clients to ensure continuing compliance with regulations. She has been a featured speaker at the CalCPA Education Foundation's annual School District Conference providing updates and guidance to firms that provide audit services to K-12 school districts. Her expertise in this area has been recognized by her peers throughout the industry.
