Jan Fredrik Meling

Jan Fredrik Meling is the current President & CEO at Eidesvik Offshore ASA. Jan has also previously worked for Color Line and Eidesvik Offshore ASA. Jan's most recent position was as a Deck Cadet on the "SuperSpeed 1" from June 2018 to August 2018. Prior to that, they worked as a Deck Trainee on the PSV "Viking Queen" and the MPSV "Subsea Viking" from August 2015 to July 2017.

Jan Fredrik Meling has a Bachelor's degree in Nautical Science from the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU). Jan is certified by the Sjøfartsdirektoratet in Able seafarer deck, Part of a navigational watch, Deck Officer Class 2, IGF Advanced, and Polar Code Basic. Jan is also certified by the STIFTELSEN SENTRALREGISTERET FOR SIKKERHETSOPPLÆRING in Forklift truck T1/T4, and by Telenor Kystradio in GOC GMDSS.
