Chief Engineer at Eidesvik Offshore ASA

Tuomo Naskali began their work experience in 2002 as an Engine rating at Rederi Ab Engship. Tuomo then worked as a Maritime Engineer from October 2003 to June 2006 at the same company. In 2006, Tuomo joined Bore Ltd as a 2nd Engineer and left in January 2007. From March 2007 to July 2009, they worked as a Product Quality Engineer at AGCO Power Oy. Tuomo returned to Bore Ltd in March 2009 and became a 3rd/2nd Engineer until May 2010. Tuomo joined Eidesvik Offshore ASA in May 2012, where they held the role of 2nd Engineer (1st Eng) until January 2013. Tuomo then continued in the same role from February 2017 to June 2019. From June 2019 to April 2021, Tuomo worked as a 2nd Engineer (1st Eng) at Eidesvik Offshore ASA. Currently, they hold the position of Chief Engineer at the same company, starting in April 2021.

Tuomo Naskali obtained their Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from Turku University of Applied Sciences, where they studied from 1998 to 2002.

Tuomo has also acquired various additional certifications, including "UKVI Speaking, Reading, Writing" at level B1 from ITYM Examen Centers (SIE) in June 2023. In February 2021, they completed the "Basic Training for Oil and Chemical Tankers V/1-1.2" from Liikenne- ja viestintävirasto Traficom / Transport- och kommunikationsverket Traficom. Furthermore, in September 2020, they obtained the "Chief Engineer STCW III/2 Norwegian endorsement" from the Norwegian Maritime Authority, and in July 2020, they obtained the "Chief Engineer STCW III/2" from Liikenne- ja viestintävirasto Traficom / Transport- och kommunikationsverket Traficom.

In May 2017, they completed several certifications, including "Basic Training VI/1," "Advanced Fire Fighting VI/3," "Designated Security Duties VI/6.4," and "Medical First Aid VI/4.1" from Liikenne- ja viestintävirasto Traficom / Transport- och kommunikationsverket Traficom. Tuomo also acquired the "IGF Advanced V/3-1, V/3-2" certification from the Norwegian Maritime Authority in January 2018 and the "Survival Crafts and Rescue Boats VI/2.1" certification in May 2017 from Liikenne- ja viestintävirasto Traficom / Transport- och kommunikationsverket Traficom.
