Andrew Maier has over 10 years of work experience. From 2009 to 2011, they worked as a Maintenance Crew at Glendale Golf and Country Club. From 2011 to 2013, they worked as a Project Controls/Quality Control Data Management at WorleyParsonsCord, where they learnt about the materials and procedures of welding for pipeline projects and was also responsible for the creation and management of large material and weld databases. From 2013 to 2017, they worked at the University of Alberta as a Graduate Research Assistant, Graduate Student Research Assistant, Lab Coordinator, Laboratory Instructor, and Lab Assistant/Technician, where they were involved in the development of a new Embedded Systems course for Electrical Engineers, served on the Netburner MOD54415 Micro-Controller Platform. Since 2017, they have been employed as a Software Engineer at Eideticom.
Andrew Maier received their Bachelor of Science in Computer Engineering from the University of Alberta in 2013, and their Master of Science (MS) in Computer Engineering from the University of Alberta in 2016. Andrew also holds a CSTS certification from Alberta.
