Sean Gibb

Sean Gibb is the VP of Software at Eideticom. Sean has over fifteen years of experience in the tech industry, specializing in software development and digital IC design. Sean was a tech lead and DSP engineer at PMC-Sierra from 2011 to 2016, during which time they developed software for FEC/ECC for enterprise-grade SSD controllers and also served as project lead for the WiGig PHY project. Prior to that, Gibb was director of software at Rad3 Communications Inc., which they co-founded in 2009 and sold to PMC-Sierra in 2011. Sean has also worked as a senior staff engineer at NextWave Wireless and as a digital IC designer at SiWorks Inc. In addition to their industry experience, Gibb has also taught courses as a sessional instructor at the University of Calgary.

Sean Gibb completed their PhD in Electrical Engineering from the University of Calgary and is certified from The Association of Professional Engineers and Geoscientists of Alberta (APEGA) as a Professional Engineer.

Sean Gibb reports to Stephen Bates, CTO. They work with Tim Lupick - VP, Hardware, Saeed Fouladi Fard - Principal Engineer.
