Andrea Biggio

Andrea Biggio has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Andrea started their career at Vodafone IT, where they worked as a GSM Network Specialist, responsible for monitoring and maintaining the GSM network and troubleshooting both national and international issues. Andrea then moved on to BSC Group, where they were an HP Unix System Administrator, managing outsourced systems for various clients and implementing monitoring systems and backup solutions. At ONE-ANS, they served as a Unix Linux System Administrator, handling system administration activities and gaining knowledge about GSM/GPRS/UMTS networks. Andrea joined Italtel as a Team Leader of the Configuration Management Team, managing software installations for QA environments and leading a team of configuration managers. Most recently, they worked at Eidosmedia, holding multiple roles including Team Leader of Hotline Service & Continuous Operations Support, System and Operation Manager, and currently as the Global Head of SRE. In these positions, they were responsible for providing system administration and application support, managing teams, and ensuring technical design and high-performance of enterprise systems. Overall, Andrea has accumulated an extensive skill set in system administration, network management, and team leadership.

Andrea Biggio completed their high school education at Istituto G.V. de Ambrosis and obtained a High School Diploma in IT and Telecommunication in 1994.

In terms of additional certifications, Andrea obtained the ITIL® v4 Foundation Certificate in IT Service Management from AXELOS Global Best Practice in May 2019. They also received the Professional Scrum Master 1 (PSM1) certification from Scrum.org in November 2018. In December 2018, Andrea obtained the AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Associate (SAA) certification from Amazon Web Services. Additionally, they obtained the Certified Scrum Master (CSM) certification from Scrum Alliance in October 2018. Most recently, in March 2022, Andrea obtained the Disciplined Agile Scrum Master (DASM) certification from the Project Management Institute.
