Rodrigo Foltran has a diverse work experience spanning various companies and roles. In 2003, they began their career as a Systems Analyst at Global Village Telecom, where they developed and supported operation systems support. Rodrigo then joined TIM Brasil in 2008 as a Systems Analyst, where they focused on planning, speciation, and testing new applications in the Billing area.

In 2010, Rodrigo joined HSBC as a Consultant Specialist, providing infrastructure support and configuration management on the Application Life-Cycle Management environment. Rodrigo also supported ALM systems running on Linux, Unix, and Windows Server. Rodrigo stayed with HSBC until 2016.

Following their time at HSBC, Rodrigo worked at Euronext's Technology Centre as a Service Operations and Network Analyst, providing technical support across various disciplines. Rodrigo then moved to KPMG Portugal as a System Engineer, providing technical support to multiple customers and offering consultancy services using IBM BPM.

From 2017 to 2023, Rodrigo worked at Natixis in Portugal as a Senior Application Support Engineer, coordinating changes and technical operations, and participating in the resolution of production incidents.

Their most recent experience is with Eidosmedia, starting in February 2023, where Rodrigo is a Project System Engineer. Their responsibilities include delivering assigned project tasks, producing reports, supporting devops function, enhancing installation tools, and executing test plans to ensure technical performance.

Rodrigo Foltran's education history begins in 1999 when they attended OPET and earned a Technical degree in Information Technology, which they completed in 2001. From 2002 to 2006, Rodrigo attended ESEEI and obtained a graduate degree in Information Technology. In 2007, they furthered their education by enrolling at the Pacific Language Institute in Vancouver, Canada, where they completed a program in English as a Second Language in 2008.

In 2010, Rodrigo commenced their post-graduate studies at the Federal University of Technology - Parana, specializing in JAVA Technology. Rodrigo completed this program in 2011.

In addition to their formal education, Rodrigo has obtained several certifications. In 2012, they earned the IBM Certified Specialist - Rational Team Concert V3 certification from IBM, and also attained the HSBC Infrastructure Production Support - Proficient Level certification from HSBC. In 2013, they completed a course in Managing Projects from The George Washington University. Rodrigo then obtained the ITIL® Foundation Certificate in IT Service Management from EXIN in 2015. In 2016, they achieved the LPIC-1 Linux Administrator certification from the Linux Professional Institute and also obtained the CompTIA Linux+ (Powered by LPI) certification from CompTIA. Finally, in 2017, they achieved the LPIC-2 Linux Engineer certification from the Linux Professional Institute.
