Kamyar Daneshvar began their work experience as a Judicial Extern for the Hon. Gary L. Taylor at the U.S. District Court, Central District of California in 2004. Kamyar then worked as an Associate at Bullivant Houser Bailey PC from 2007 to 2010, followed by a role as an Associate at Greenberg Traurig, LLP from 2010 to 2013. In 2013, they served as an Attorney Advisor at the US Securities and Exchange Commission until 2015 when they joined Inovalon as AVP, Associate General Counsel & Corporate Secretary. Kamyar remained with Inovalon until April 2022, at which point they became the Vice President & Associate General Counsel at EIG, a leading institutional investor in the global energy and infrastructure sectors.

Kamyar Daneshvar earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science from UC San Diego in 2003. Kamyar then attended Loyola Law School in Los Angeles, where they obtained a Juris Doctor (JD) degree from 2003 to 2006. Before their undergraduate studies, Kamyar also attended Harvard-Westlake School. In terms of additional certifications, they obtained a CCGP (Certified Corporate Governance Professional) from the Society for Corporate Governance in February 2020, as well as a Securities & Financial Regulation Certificate from Georgetown University Law Center in 2015.
