Rob Johnson has over 30 years of work experience in various roles and industries. Rob started their career as a Captain in the United States Marine Corps from 1986 to 1990. After that, they joined Citigroup as a Vice President from 1992 to 1998. Rob then worked at Wachovia Securities, LLC as a Managing Director from 1998 to 2008. From 2009 to 2015, they held the position of Managing Director at Wells Fargo Securities. Currently, they are the Managing Director and Global Head of Direct Lending at EIG Global Energy Partners, a leading provider of institutional private capital to the global energy and power industries.
Rob Johnson attended The University of the South from 1982 to 1986, earning a Bachelor's degree in History. Rob later pursued a Master's in Business Administration with a focus on Finance at UNC Kenan-Flagler Business School from 1990 to 1992.
