Piper Q. has over three decades of work experience in various roles and industries. Piper has expertise in human resources, marketing, and consulting. Piper began their career at St. Supéry Estate Vineyards & Winery as an Associate Director of Marketing & Public Relations, where they managed various marketing and PR initiatives. Piper then worked at PQX2 Consulting as a Partner, providing IT consulting services to small businesses. Piper later joined Simplex Filler Co as the Director of Marketing, Public Relations & Advertising, where they significantly increased sales leads and reduced costs. Piper then transitioned to Santen, a pharmaceutical company, where they served as a Manager of HR Operations & Business Partner to R&D. Piper provided HR support and oversaw compensation, talent development, and recruitment. Piper then worked at Gaw Van Male, LLP as a Director of HR & Business, where they established the HR department and implemented various HR programs. Piper subsequently joined Biocare Medical, where they held leadership roles, including Chief Compliance Officer, Head of HR, and Director of HR & Org Development. Piper was responsible for partnering with executives, managing learning and development efforts, and addressing employee relations matters. Most recently, Piper joined Eiger BioPharmaceuticals as a Senior Director of Human Resources.
Piper Q. obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Economics from Sweet Briar College. In addition to their bachelor's degree, they earned the following certifications: DDI Certified Facilitator from Development Dimensions International in October 2012 and PHR (Professional in Human Resources) from the HR Certification Institute (HRCI) in December 2013.
