Andrew Kim

Andrew Kim is a Senior Mechanical Design Engineer at Eight Sleep since June 2023, focusing on the design of next-generation products. Previously, Andrew held a similar position at Tesla from September 2020 to May 2023, where leadership in product design for electro-mechanical systems across various vehicle platforms was key. Andrew's experience also includes earlier roles at Tesla as a Mechanical Design Engineer and Body Engineering Intern, contributing to significant improvements in production metrics and product design. Additional roles include mechanical engineering internships and co-op positions, where Andrew gained valuable skills in CAD, mechanical design, and electrical hardware testing. Andrew holds a Bachelor of Applied Science in Mechanical Engineering, specializing in Mechatronics, from The University of British Columbia.
