Ian Norfolk's work experience includes:

- Director of Civil Engineering at EIKON Consulting Group, LLC.

- Senior Project Manager at Halff Associates.

- Senior Project Manager at Whitworth Engineering, where they built and managed the Land Development Department, handling small commercial and land development projects as well as historic Texas Courthouse restorations.

- Project Engineer at Hickman Consulting Engineers.

- US Project Engineer at Cinterex US, where they served as the Head Field Engineer for the construction of bridges on the George Bush Turnpike and the 380 bypass around Austin.

- Civil Engineer at Profile Consultants, where they worked on airport improvement projects and coordinated with TXDOT and FAA for bidding and construction.
