Vice President Of Intellectual Property, Associate General Counsel at Eikon Therapeutics

Connie Wong has an extensive work experience in the field of intellectual property and law. Connie is currently serving as the Vice President of Intellectual Property and Associate General Counsel at Eikon Therapeutics since September 2022. Prior to this, they were the Head of Intellectual Property at Applied Molecular Transport from April 2021 to August 2022.

Before joining Applied Molecular Transport, Connie worked at Amgen as a Senior Counsel in Intellectual Property and Litigation from September 2016 to March 2021. Connie also held the position of Senior Patent Counsel at Genentech from July 2012 to August 2016.

Connie has a background in private law firms as well. Connie was a Partner and Chair of the Life Sciences Practice Group at Lee & Hayes, PLLC from June 2010 to July 2012. Prior to that, they worked as a Patent Attorney at Ropes & Gray LLP (merged with Fish & Neave LLP) for four years.

Connie started their career as a Patent Agent at Fish & Neave LLP in 2001, where they gained early experience in the field of intellectual property. Connie holds a strong track record of expertise and leadership in their field.

Connie Wong's education history begins in 1991 when they obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Human Physiology from The University of British Columbia. From 1995 to 2000, Connie pursued further studies at the same institution and obtained a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) degree in Immunology. Afterward, from 2000 to 2001, they joined the Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center as a post-doctoral fellow, focusing on Immunology. Finally, from 2002 to 2006, Connie attended Fordham University School of Law, where they obtained a Doctor of Law (J.D.) degree with a concentration in Intellectual Property Law.
