Rafael Miranda

Rafael Miranda's work experience includes a role as a Scientist at Eikon Therapeutics starting in November 2021. Prior to that, they worked as a Postdoctoral Researcher at Genentech from December 2017 to December 2021. During their time at Genentech, they focused on discovering macrocyclic peptide binders and inhibitors to proteins of interest using mRNA display and evolution techniques. Additionally, they have experience as an Intern at Genentech in 2016 and at Novozymes from 2011 to 2012.

Rafael Miranda began their education in 2007 at California Polytechnic State University-San Luis Obispo, where they pursued studies in biochemistry. After completing their studies there in 2010, they then enrolled at the University of California, Davis, where they obtained a Bachelor's degree in biochemistry between 2010 and 2011. Determined to further their education, Rafael Miranda pursued a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Biochemistry at the University of Oregon, where they successfully completed their degree in 2017.
