Chris Lu

Chris Lu is the Founder and CTO of Copy.ai, holding this position since 2020. Simultaneously, Chris serves as an angel investor for several companies, including Circle.so, Beacons, Magic, ZBiotics, Zerion, and NABIS, all active since 2018 or 2019. Prior to Copy.ai, Chris founded a stealth startup that launched five Gen AI applications within nine months, and served as General Partner and Head of Engineering at ESO Fund from 2014 to 2020, where notable contributions included building a data platform and automating various operational processes. Early experience also includes a security role at PwC in 2014. Chris holds a degree from Washington University in St. Louis and is an alumnus of Sidwell Friends School.
