Einar Willumsen is a modern mid-sized international flavour house with own in-house analytics, flavour creation, and production facilities for flavourings and compounds. We employ around 100 people and sell our products primarily in Europe, Middle East and Asia. The company was founded by Einar Willumsen in 1901, and our Swedish subsidiary was founded in 1904. Today, the majority shareholder of the company is a foundation, which ensures a long term commitment to the marketplace and donates part of the profit to medical research. Our mission is to help our customers develop and market exciting and innovative new taste experiences for consumers. We use nature’s own recipes as inspiration for creating new exiting tastes. We base most of our flavourings on own extracts and distillates. In our beverage compounds we supplement with juice, wine, active ingredients, colours, cloudifiers etc. We use insight from the Nordic food tradition and harness global trends to transform today’s international concepts into tomorrow’s exciting local food and beverages. We live our strong Nordic values on a daily basis, and we believe in openness, honesty and effectiveness. We work in an informal atmosphere with short decision processes.
