Thorsten Bunz

Thorsten Bunz is an experienced professional in the electric vehicle and aviation sectors, currently serving as the Charging Hardware Lead at Einride since June 2023, where responsibility includes the global high-power charging portfolio for electric trucks. Prior to this, Thorsten held multiple roles at Lilium from April 2019 to May 2023, culminating as Head of Aircraft Operations, defining the charging strategy and managing the Aircraft Operating Platform's development. Previous experience includes serving as Technology Strategy Manager at Accenture, where Thorsten led IT transformation projects, and as a Research Associate at Justus-Liebig University Giessen. Thorsten's academic qualifications include a Dr. rer. pol. in Strategic Management, as well as degrees in International Business Management and Business Administration from renowned institutions such as INSEAD and Newcastle University Business School.
