Bill O’Connor

William O'Connor possesses extensive experience in mineral processing and geoscience, currently working at Eion since January 2022. As the owner of ORSMELT, LLC since August 2010, William provides consulting services in mining, extractive metallurgy, and geochemistry. Previous roles include Field Chemist at Clean Harbors Environmental Services, conducting hazardous waste operations, and Process Development Specialist at Grand River Ironsands Incorporated, where William led R&D efforts on titaniferrous iron ore sand. William's career began as a Geologist with the US Department of Energy/US Bureau of Mines, focusing on mineral exploration and processing. William holds a Master of Science in Geology and Geophysics from Missouri University of Science and Technology and a Bachelor of Science in Geology from the University of Missouri-Kansas City.
