Monika Rai

Monika Rai is an accomplished professional in the life sciences sector, currently serving as Partner and Head of Life Sciences at EIP since April 2020. Prior to this role, Monika held the position of Partner at Mathys & Squire LLP from July 2014 to March 2020, and previously worked as a Consultant at GlaxoSmithKline from October 2012 to September 2013. Monika's legal career began at Olswang as a European Patent Attorney from August 2008 to September 2012, following a role as a Technical Assistant at Kilburn & Strode between January 2007 and July 2008. Monika's foundation in law was established with an LLB from the University of Delhi (1999-2002), followed by an LLM in Intellectual Property from The London School of Economics and Political Science (2002-2003), complemented by a BSc (Hons.) in Botany, Zoology, and Chemistry from the University of Delhi (1996-1999). Monika's early legal experience includes serving as an Advocate at Groser & Groser in India from January 2004 to August 2006.
