Neema Shayo

Neema Shayo is currently a Senior Analyst specializing in Cross Border Power Markets for the EirGrid Group since February 2024 and serves as a Renewable Fuels Taskforce Member for the Association of International Energy Negotiators (AIEN) since January 2024. Previously, Neema held the position of Energy Advisor at the Norwegian Ministry of Foreign Affairs from November 2017 to March 2024 and worked as a Program Assistant/Intern at the Department for International Development (DFID) from August 2016 to July 2017. Neema holds an MSc. in International Energy Studies and Energy Finance from the University of Dundee, obtained in September 2023, and has education from the Graduate School of Business at the University of Cape Town.
