Rinalini Lahon

Rinalini Lahon, PhD, is a Senior Lead Engineer in Future Operations at EirGrid Group since February 2022, previously serving as a Senior Engineer in the same division. Prior experience includes a role as a Senior Power Systems Researcher at University College Dublin, where Rinalini developed unit commitment and electricity market models focused on the implications of high renewable shares within the Irish electricity sector. Rinalini's academic background includes a PhD in Power Systems Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Roorkee, complemented by an M.Tech. from the National Institute of Technology Agartala and a B.E. from Assam Engineering College. Rinalini has also contributed as a Teaching Assistant at the Indian Institute of Technology, Roorkee, and as Guest Faculty at Assam Engineering College.
