Harald Hampel

Harald Hampel, MD, PhD, MSc is an accomplished neurologist with extensive expertise in medical affairs, particularly in neurology and Alzheimer's disease. Currently serving as Chief Medical Officer and Senior Vice President at Eisai US since May 2019, Harald leads global medical affairs strategy and oversees critical projects related to Alzheimer's and dementia. With prior positions including full professorships at Université Paris-Sorbonne and Goethe University, as well as significant leadership roles at Trinity College Dublin and Ludwig-Maximilians Universität München, Harald has cultivated a distinguished career in clinical research and academia.
