Antonia Lorenzo

Antonia María Lorenzo López is currently a member of the Supervisory Board at EIT Food since June 2023. With extensive experience in research and development, Antonia co-founded BIOAZUL in September 2003, where responsibilities include the acquisition of innovative ideas for environmental R&D projects, defining R&D strategies, and preparing proposals for international funding. Antonia has also served as an external expert for the European Commission at META Group since April 2012, providing consultancy and training on non-technical aspects of research projects in nanotechnologies, materials, and processes. Earlier in their career, Antonia managed international R&D projects at ttz bremerhaven, focusing on agro-food waste minimization and valorization. Antonia holds a Bachelor's degree in Chemistry from Universidad de Murcia.
