Lorena Savani is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in the food and beverage industry, currently serving as the Mission Lead for "Healthier Lives Through Food" at EIT Food since July 2018. Savani oversees the strategy and execution of this mission and has held various significant roles, including Innovation Programme Manager at EIT Food CLC South and Founding Partner at True Food Consulting. With a strong background in marketing and product innovation, particularly during tenure as Head of Marketing Product Innovation for Burger King in Europe, Middle East, and Africa, Savani has successfully driven sustainable growth and brand awareness. Prior roles include R&D and Quality Director at Comess Group and senior management positions at Kraft Foods, focusing on productivity and innovative beverage solutions. Educational accomplishments include degrees in Food Science and Technology and Human Nutrition from prominent institutions, along with an Executive Management Program from IESE Business School.
