Unai Iparragirre

Unai Iparragirre is a seasoned media executive with extensive experience in television production and channel management. As the Head of Channels ETB at EITB since April 2021, Iparragirre successfully relaunched the TV portfolio, achieving the best performance in a decade. Prior to this role, Iparragirre held multiple leadership positions at Discovery Inc from 2005 to 2020, overseeing free-to-air channels in Turkey, editorial development across EMEA, and product innovation. Earlier career highlights include significant contributions at Euskal Telebista as a producer and director, and work as a scriptwriter and presenter. Educational credentials include degrees in Computer Engineering and Drama and Theatre Studies from Universidad del País Vasco/Euskal Herriko Unibertsitatea.
