Steven Sylvester, CSP CHMM, currently serves as the Director of Environmental Health & Safety and Sustainability at E. & J. Gallo Winery since July 2021, overseeing comprehensive EHS programs for various operations, including winery and vineyard activities as well as manufacturing and distribution. Prior to this role, Steven held the position of Director of Environmental Health & Safety at G3 Enterprises from September 2011 to June 2021, managing EHS and Risk Management across multiple divisions serving the California wine industry. Steven's previous experience includes serving as Global Environmental Affairs Manager at E&J Gallo Winery, Northern California Safety and Environmental Manager at Kraft Foods Group, and Environmental Health and Safety Engineer at Pactiv, LLC. Steven holds a Bachelor of Science in Environmental and Occupational Health from California State University, Northridge.
