Abdelaziz Gheith

Abdelaziz Gheith is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in leadership and business development, currently serving as a Board Member in the Industry and Community Support Cluster at Egypt-Japan University of Science and Technology since December 2023. As Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of BMC Almasrya for Advanced Industries since January 2018, Gheith has played a pivotal role in making the company the leading manufacturer of BMC manhole covers and drainage grills in the Middle East and Africa. Prior to these roles, Gheith was a Business Development Manager tasked with restructuring projects at BMC, achieving significant sales growth, and has also held positions at Unilever as a Brand Building Finance Business Partner and at the Arab Academy for Science, Technology and Maritime Transport as a Graduate Teaching Assistant. Gheith holds a DBA from ISEG - Lisbon School of Economics & Management, an MSc in International Business and Emerging Markets from the University of Edinburgh Business School, and a Bachelor's in Accounting and Finance from Cardiff Metropolitan University.
