Lori Giese, SHRM-SCP, SPHR, has a strong background in human resources and extensive work experience. Lori is currently serving as the Director of Human Resources at EK since June 2022. Prior to their current role, they worked as the TL - HR Operations at Alliant Energy from May 2008 to November 2021, where they supervised and coordinated staff activities to ensure efficient responses to inquiries and executed defined processes.

Lori also served as the Human Resources Director at Powercom Corporation from May 2001 to May 2008, where they were responsible for all facets of the HR department, including payroll, benefits record-keeping, recruiting, policies, and budgeting. Additionally, they worked as the HR/Accounting Assistant at RuMar Mfg. Corp from August 1993 to May 2001, managing HR issues such as benefits, policies, payroll, and recruiting, as well as overseeing accounts receivable and accounts payable.

Throughout their career, Lori has demonstrated their expertise in HR operations and management, customer service, compliance with employment laws, and teamwork. Their experience and knowledge make their a valuable asset in the field of human resources.

Lori Giese, SHRM-SCP, SPHR has a Bachelor's degree in Business from Upper Iowa University, which they obtained from 1998 to 2000. In May 2012, they also obtained a Lean Six Sigma Green Belt Certification. Additionally, they have received the SHRM - Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP) certification from SHRM in February 2018 and has been a Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) since 2005, certified by the HR Certification Institute - HRCI in January 2015.
