Stephanie Francalancia is a skilled medical illustrator currently working at Eko since September 2020. Previously, Stephanie contributed as a Clinical Research Assistant at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center from October 2020 to August 2022, focusing on orthopedic plastic surgery research. Stephanie's early research experience includes roles as an Undergraduate Research Assistant at Michigan Medicine from September 2016 to July 2020, where work centered on emergency medicine and traumatic brain injury, and at the University of Massachusetts Medical School from April 2017 to September 2018, concentrating on microbiome studies in breast reconstruction. Stephanie holds a Bachelor of Arts in Art & Design and Biology from the University of Michigan, a Master of Science in Narrative Medicine from Columbia University, and is currently pursuing a Doctor of Medicine degree at The Warren Alpert Medical School of Brown University.
