Pieter Rood

Pieter Rood is currently serving as the Director of Operations at Ekomenu since February 2020. Prior to that, they worked at Willem&Drees where they held the positions of Product Manager from June 2018 to February 2020 and Franchise Manager from November 2016 to June 2018. From 2013 to 2016, Pieter worked at Beebox as a Franchise Manager and an Allround Medewerker during the startup phase. Pieter has also worked as a Young Business Consultant at dutch from November 2012 to May 2013. Pieter's earlier experiences include working as a Researcher at the Partnership Foundation from May 2011 to October 2011 and participating in the Research Project India in 2010.

Pieter Rood has a strong education background in economics. Pieter completed a Master of Science (MSc) degree in Development Economics from the University of Amsterdam, from 2009 to 2011. Prior to their master's degree, they obtained a Bachelor's degree in General Economics from the same university, from 2006 to 2009.

In addition to their formal education, Pieter also holds a certification in Prince 2. Pieter obtained this certification in November 2013 from ICM Opleidingen & trainingen.
