P.eng Brendan Cade

Brendan Cade, P.Eng, is a Senior Mechanical Engineer at Ekona Power, specializing in the development of a novel hydrogen production reactor designed to achieve lower carbon emissions and enhanced efficiency compared to traditional methods. Previous experience includes the role of Fuel Cell Product Engineer at CORE Energy Recovery Solutions, where Brendan developed next-generation fuel cell humidifiers and managed the complete product development cycle. Brendan also served as Mechanical Engineer at Vanrx Pharmasystems, focusing on high-precision robotic tooling, and at TRIUMF, where design work included electron-gamma converters and complex thermal simulations. Early career experience as a Mechanical Engineer-in-Training at Manitoba Hydro provided foundational knowledge in various engineering applications and project planning. Brendan holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Manitoba.
