Niels D'Haese

Niels D'Haese has extensive work experience in various roles within the water and environmental industry. Niels is currently serving as the Chief Commercial Officer (CCO) at EKOPAK since June 2021. Prior to that, they worked as the Managing Director at DEME Environmental Contractors (DEC) - Water Division from July 2020 to June 2021. Before joining DEME, they held multiple positions at SUEZ, including Global Key Account Manager from January 2018 to June 2020, Sales Director Belgium - SUEZ Water NV in 2017, Market Leader Design & Build - Long term Services - Belgium in 2016, and Commercial & Development Manager from 2013 to 2015. Niels started their career as a Project Manager at Epas in 2008, where they worked until December 2012.

Niels D'Haese pursued their education with a focus on environmental engineering technology and environmental technology. Niels obtained their Master's degree from Ghent University where they studied from 2003 to 2008. Prior to that, from 1997 to 2003, they attended Heilige-Maagdcollege Dendermonde, where they completed their ASO with a specialization in Wetenschappen-Wiskunde.
