Products are manufactured in Norway and marketed all over the world by a network of national and regional sales companies.

Ekornes was founded in 1934 in Sunnmore, Norway by J.E. Ekornes. In 1971 the first Stressless recliner was introduced.

North American sales offices are located in Somerset, NJ. We partner with a network of approximately 700 retailers in the US, Canada and Mexico to distribute products in North America.
