Carlos Infante Ruiz has a diverse work experience in the energy industry. Carlos started their career in 2008 as a Fellow at AICIA, where they participated in the development of a hydrogen-powered electric vehicle. Carlos was involved in designing and manufacturing power electronics prototypes and implementing control algorithms for various types of machines.
In 2009, Carlos joined GPTech as a Power Electronics Systems Developer, where they worked until 2012.
In 2012, Carlos became the Head of the Control & Communications Department at eks Energy. Carlos led a team of over 20 engineers and was responsible for the design and development of control and communications systems. Carlos continued in this role until December 2020.
In 2019, Carlos co-founded and served as an Administrator at AE2 (Application Engineering in Energies), a consultancy and engineering company specializing in renewable energies, particularly photovoltaic systems, storage, smart grids, and electric vehicle charging stations. Carlos managed the company's growth and worked on projects ranging from isolated grid control systems to large-scale photovoltaic and storage projects exceeding 100 MW.
