Saimy Swärd

Saimy Swärd has extensive experience in tourism, media production, and education. Currently serving as a Turistinformatör at Eksjö kommun since September 2019, Saimy focuses on tourism within the municipality. As a freelance Media Producer since July 2017, Saimy specializes in web development and community ICT services. Previously, Saimy worked as a teacher at Eksjö Kommun from April 2015 to June 2017, initially as a substitute in primary education and later as a teacher for Swedish as a second language. Saimy's early career includes research work at Arcada University of Applied Sciences and various roles at YLE and Yleisradio Oy, where skills in reporting, website development, and production for children's programming were honed. Saimy holds a Master's degree in Media Management from Arcada University of Applied Sciences and a Bachelor's degree in Cultural Studies from Stockholm University, with a focus on film theory.
