Emily Ledesma

Emily Ledesma serves as the Associate Director of Education at El Buen Samaritano since September 2023, following a significant tenure as Director of Programs at Equity Kids, a position held since August 2020. Prior experience includes roles such as Program Director at YMCA of Austin from October 2021 to September 2023, Program Manager at Communities In Schools of Central Texas, and Program Supervisor at Any Baby Can. Emily's background includes working as a Bilingual Parent-Child Specialist and Therapeutic Teacher at The SAFE Alliance, as well as a Therapeutic Childcare Specialist at Helping Hand Home for Children. Earlier roles also include Research Lab Assistant at Project SEED, University of Texas at Austin, and Intern & Sales Associate at Texas Parents University of Texas. Emily Ledesma holds a Bachelor of Science in Human Development and Family Science from The University of Texas at Austin, completed in December 2014.
