Obed Canjura

Obed Canjura has extensive experience in community outreach and health coordination, currently serving as an Outreach Coordinator and Community Health Worker at El Centro de Corazón since March 2012. Responsibilities include media outreach in both English and Spanish, coordinating health fairs, and producing translations for various documents and promotional materials. Prior experience includes roles as a Career Coach and Case Manager at SER - Jobs for Progress of the Texas Gulf Coast, where client eligibility for services was assessed, and as a Youth Coordinator at Wesley Community Center Inc, where youth programs were organized in collaboration with public schools. Obed’s educational background includes an Associate Degree from Houston Community College and ongoing studies towards a Bachelor's Degree at the University of Houston-Downtown.
