Karen Foshay Reid Lcsw

Karen Foshay Reid, LCSW, is an experienced behavioral health clinician currently serving at El Dorado Community Health Centers since April 2021. From January 2021 to February 2023, Karen provided therapy through Teladoc Health and BetterHelp.com, focusing on supporting teens and adults through telehealth platforms. Prior to these roles, Karen worked at Folsom Cordova Unified School District in various capacities related to health and career support and volunteered as President and Fundraising Coordinator for the Folsom Sea Otters swim team. Karen also acted as President of Bright Beginnings Preschool, leading efforts to enhance the program's sustainability. Earlier experience includes serving as Team Leader at Rensselaer County Mental Health and clinician roles at Vanderheyden Hall. Karen holds a Master of Social Work from the University at Albany, obtained in 1997, and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the same institution, completed in 1991.
