Susan Scott MS LAADC is an experienced Substance Abuse Counselor at El Dorado Community Health Centers since April 2017. In addition to this role, Susan has been a Volunteer Educator at Break Free Inc. since September 2014, focusing on educating the public and youth about human trafficking in the United States. Previous positions include Program Manager at Tahoe Turning Point and Lead Youth Counselor at Strategies For Change, where support was provided to youth in probation and high schools in Galt, California. Additionally, Susan served as a Child Advocate for the National CASA Association and held board membership at Skagit DVSAS. Education includes a Master’s in Addiction Prevention and Treatment from Grand Canyon University and a Bachelor's in Human Service Management from the University of Phoenix.

El Dorado Community Health Centers EDCCHC, is a primary care center with three locations that serves El Dorado County and provides a full range of family practice services. Quality care is the focus of our center. We provide health care services for every age, serving over 10,500 patients. We accept most private insurances, Medi-Cal, Medicare, the underinsured and those without insurance. The services in our center also include a Client Advocate, Pharmacy Program and Patient Assistant Program for medications, acupuncture, podiatry, behavioral health and referrals to various services within the community. We are a Federally Qualified Health Center 501(C)(3)and our goal is to serve everyone in our community.
