Austen Coles

Austen Coles currently serves as a Program Specialist at the El Dorado County Office of Education, focusing on enhancing outcomes for students with disabilities through support and training for Local Education Agencies. Prior experience includes roles as a New Teacher Mentor and Education Specialist at Five Keys Schools and Programs, where responsibilities encompassed academic instruction and case management for students with IEPs. Additional experience includes leadership training as a Rising Leader Fellow with Teach For America and previous positions emphasizing equity and mental health assistance during time at the University of Louisville. Austen holds a Master’s Degree in Urban Education and Leadership from Loyola Marymount University and completed an undergraduate degree at the University of Louisville, complemented by international education at Université de Caen Normandie.
