Sakon Kieh

Sakon Kieh is a seasoned professional in educational technology and instructional design, currently serving as the Sr. Director of Learning Experience Design at EL Education since March 2023, where leadership is provided to a team of instructional designers and consultants to create innovative professional learning content. Prior experience includes over nine years at the District of Columbia Public Schools, where a comprehensive educational technology strategy was defined, managing teams, and leading various educational initiatives. Sakon Kieh's career also encompasses roles in Loudoun County Public Schools, Atlanta Public Schools, TNTP, and the American School of Dubai, with a strong focus on technology integration in classroom instruction and professional development for educators. Educational qualifications include two Master's degrees in Curriculum and Instruction: Instructional Design and Technology, and Elementary Education from George Mason University and Georgia State University, as well as a Bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice/Safety Studies from Georgia State University.
