Heather Simpson Norgard

Heather Simpson Norgard is a seasoned professional in development and fundraising, currently serving as the Director of Development at El Museo del Barrio since July 2022. Prior to this role, Norgard held the position of Senior Director of Development at Columbia University in the City of New York from June 2017 to July 2022, and worked as a Senior Development Officer at The Brookings Institution from October 2014 to May 2017. Norgard holds a Master of Science in Journalism from Columbia University's Graduate School of Journalism and a Bachelor of Arts in English from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
