Carmen Molina Tamacas is a seasoned bilingual news editor, writer, and translator with extensive experience in journalism and content creation. Currently, Carmen works at The Weather Channel since 2016, managing news and editing tasks, along with freelance writing roles for multiple publications, including El Diario and El Observador Uruguay. Carmen authored "SalviYorkers," a book documenting 90 years of Salvadoran immigrant stories in New York. Previously, efforts included leading a team at Columbia University Medical Center's Summer Youth Employment Program and teaching journalism at Universidad Dr. José Matías Delgado. Carmen holds a Bachelor's degree in Anthropology and Museology from Universidad Tecnológica de El Salvador and an academic diploma in Humanities from Colegio Externado San José.
