Adrian Duran

Adrian Duran has extensive work experience in the development and foundation sectors. Starting in 2015, they served as the Director of Foundation & Development at FirstLight Federal Credit Union, where they oversaw outreach efforts and focused on financial education initiatives and scholarship programs. In 2021, they joined the El Paso Center for Children, Inc. as the Chief Development Officer.

Adrian Duran holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Business Administration and Management, General from The University of Texas at El Paso, which they obtained from 2002 to 2005. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree in Accounting from St. Mary's University, where they studied from 1992 to 1996. In addition to their formal education, Adrian has obtained various certifications, including Leading Change in Nonprofits from Kellogg Executive Education in 2022, Credit Union Development Educator - CUDE from the National Credit Union Foundation in 2018, and FiCEP Certified Financial Counselor from the Credit Union National Association in October 2020.
